What documents do I need to rent a car in Rhodes?
(1) A valid driving licence recognised by the European Community or an international driving licence. (2) A valid identity card or passport.
How old must the driver be?
Minimum age 21 (minimum licence 1 year) and no maximum age.
Are there extra charges for a second driver?

Do I need a card to rent a car in Rhodes?

Full cover, except, for example, in the event of an accident caused by dangerous driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In this case, the insurance company may refuse full cover. Note that in Greece, insurance companies do not generally offer full cover for off-road (asphalt) driving and damage or loss of keys.
Do I have to inspect the car before I receive it?
When you receive a car, ClubNous advises you to inspect it for any damage. Take photos or videos if necessary and make sure the rental company is informed of any problems before you drive away. Similarly, when you return the car, inspect it again.
What should I do if I receive a ticket?
If you receive a fine during the period of validity of the rental contract, you will be liable and will have to inform the car rental company in order to pay the fine.
Is there a mileage limit when I rent a car in Rhodes?
Mileage is unlimited.
Can I extend my rental period?
Yes, depending on what’s available at the time.
What happens if I have to return the car earlier than planned?
Part of the amount will be refunded in the event of force majeure.
Is driving in Rhodes dangerous?
No. You just have to be vigilant.
What is the fuel policy if I rent a car in Rhodes?
You pay for your fuel. When you return the car, the quantity of the fuel must be the same as the one you received.
Can I visit another island outside of Rhodes with the car?
No, you can’t leave the island with the car.
What should I do in the event of an accident?
1. Remain calm and check that everyone is in good health.
2. Write down the registration number of the vehicle with which you had the incident (take a few photos of the vehicle and the site of the incident).
3. Immediately call your car hire company to inform them and ask for help.
4. Do not move the car (do not leave with the car even if it can be driven) until a police report has been drawn up, unless the police or the rental company representative gives you the “green light”.
5. In an emergency, call the police at “100” and the ambulance at “160”.
What should I look out for when returning the car?
The car must be returned on the date and at the time specified in the contract. When the car is returned, the quantity of fuel must be the same as the one you received. It is also important to check that the car does not contain any forgotten items or appliances. ClubNous and the car rental company are not responsible for lost items.
