Terms and Conditions
This website is operated by ClubNous, a free online service provider, located at Ferenikis 21, Ialissos 851 01, Greece.
1. Bookings:
• Confirmations for bookings are provided by ClubNous as promptly as possible, contingent upon the availability of the desired car on specified dates and times.
• Last-minute bookings may have different processing times.
• Bookings for special vehicles, optional extras, or on request may take additional time, requiring a request to the car rental company and subsequent confirmation.
• Once confirmed, Car Rental Rhodes sends a reservation confirmation via email, which should be presented to the car rental company during the vehicle pickup.
• The rental contract is established locally between the customer and the car rental company, subject to the terms and conditions of the car rental company and local laws.
2. Prerequisites:
• The minimum age for a driver is 21 years.
• The driver must possess valid identification documents and have held a valid driver’s license for at least one year.
• Fuel consumption is not included in the rental, and the renter is personally responsible for any traffic fines or administrative penalties resulting from violations of Greek traffic laws.
3. Payment:
• Payment is made upon picking up the rental car and can be settled by credit card or cash.
• For other payment methods, contact ClubNous.
4. Deposit for Reservations:
• Reservations are free of charge.
• ClubNous does not require a deposit or any upfront payment to pick up the rental car.
5. Cancellations:
• Bookings can be changed or canceled at any time before picking up the rental car, and they are free of charge.
6. Car Category:
• The confirmation of a booking is for a specific car category, not a particular make or model.
• Car rental companies may provide a rental car of the same or higher category than booked.
7. Pick-up and Return of Rental Cars:
• The renter decides when and where to pick up the car.
• For airport pickups, ClubNous and the car rental company need flight number, date, and arrival time.
• If there are delays, the renter must contact ClubNous.
8. Insurance:
• The car is fully insured, with no excess, against all risks by the car rental company.
• Dangerous driving, misuse of the vehicle (for example, driving off-road on unpaved roads), and disrespect of the Greek driving code of conduct (the Law) are not tolerated and in such instances, the full insurance may be void.
• The loss of the car keys is not covered by the insurance policy of the vehicle.
• The renter is responsible to report any incidents/damages to the car immediately to the rent a car company and then follow its instructions to collect relevant information.
9. Additional Drivers:
• ClubNous and the rental company allow an additional driver at no extra cost, registered at the time of picking up the rental car. The additional diver must have valid documents.
10. Liabilities:
• ClubNous acts as an intermediary only and is not liable for issues arising from the renter’s responsibilities, such as not having valid documents or not meeting age requirements.
• ClubNous is not responsible for items lost or forgotten inside the rented car.
